On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), I invite you to a public alternatives meeting for the St. Johns River to Sea (SJR2C) Loop Trail PD&E Study. The purpose of the study is to develop and evaluate options for a multi-use trail along U.S. 1, or an alternate route, from S.R. 44 (Lytle Avenue) to Beville Road in Volusia County, a distance of approximately 18 miles.
The meetings will be offered on two different days, and the same information will be presented at both meetings. The meetings will be Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at the Piggotte Community Center, 504 Big Tree Road, South Daytona, FL 32119 and on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at the Brannon Center, 105 South Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. The meetings will be an open house format from 5-7 p.m., with no formal presentation. Participants may review study information and discuss the study with FDOT staff at any time during the meetings. A newsletter with a project location map is provided as an attachment to this email.
