The VolusiaTPO is the designated Transportation Management Area (TMA) for the Volusia County area (including the cities of Flagler Beach and Beverly Beach in Flagler County).  The TPO is required to undergo a federal certification review every four years by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).  The purpose of the certification is to certify that the TMA is satisfactorily meeting the planning requirements as defined in federal laws and regulations.

Included within the certification review is an opportunity for the public, as well as the elected officials, to provide their comments and input on the transportation planning process for the Volusia County area.  Therefore, all interested citizens are invited to attend a public meeting with the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration which has been scheduled for:
