The Volusia-Flagler Transportation Planning Organization (R2CTPO) has assessed the gaps within the regional trail network through the completion of a Regional Trails Corridor Assessment (RTCA). Throughout the course of this study, the Volusia-Flagler TPO worked with citizens, advocacy groups, governmental agencies, and municipalities within the TPO’s planning area, as well as those adjacent to the TPO planning area. This process was quantitative as well as qualitative, utilizing existing data gathered from regional studies previously conducted, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data, and information provided by the many stakeholders that informed this project.
