The River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is now accepting transportation project funding applications for the Priority Project Process. Applications will be used by the River to Sea TPO and the Florida Department of Transportation to qualify and prioritize proposed projects for funding.
Notice is hereby given that the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is seeking the services of a qualified consultant to perform associated on-going consultant services in the area of transportation planning.
The TPO will be holding its annual retreat on February 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. (continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m.) until 11:00 a.m. The retreat will focus on transportation technology. At the Wednesday, September 23, 2015 TPO Board meeting a public hearing will be held on the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) prior to its adoption. Public comments are welcomed.
The construction of the improvements to the I-95/US 92 interchange will require temporary closures to the US 92 westbound to I-95 northbound on-ramp on the night of Wednesday, September 16th from 9PM to 6AM.
The new pedestrian bridge installation is scheduled from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18. During the
installation, US 92 (International Speedway Boulevard) will be closed – eastbound and westbound – between
Daytona Boulevard and Bill France Boulevard.
There will be a public meeting for the State Road (SR) 5/US 1 (S. Ridgewood Avenue) design project. The project is approximately 8.1 miles, from South Street to Magnolia Avenue/Shangri-La Circle.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will hold a public meeting for the SR 40 design project from SR 15/US 17 to west of SR 11 in Volusia County.
