Please be advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will conduct nighttime work on U.S. 1 (S.R. 5) at the Pellicer Creek Bridge on Sunday, October 11, 2026, beginning at 10 p.m. Work is expected to be complete by 3 a.m.
During the operation, the northbound lane will be closed to allow crews to complete asphalt repairs. Traffic will be alternately flagged through the southbound lane while the work is underway. Crews will complete asphalt repairs as part of the ongoing work at the bridge. No detour is required.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area, follow posted signs and flagger directions, and allow additional travel time.
Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
