Motorists are advised that the inside, westbound lane of Interstate 4 (I-4) near Mile Marker 125 will be closed nightly from Tuesday, Sept. 8, through Thursday, Sept. 10 for construction activities.
This closure will occur between State Road 44 (Exit 118) and Interstate 95 (Exit 129) interchanges, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night ending at 6:30 a.m. the next morning.
The lane closure is needed so crews can safely pave the inside shoulder.
This work is part of the I-4 Truck Parking project that will construct a new westbound truck parking facility in Volusia County to help address the shortage of truck parking along the I-4 corridor.
The work schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
