Mobility Week Flyer
The State of Florida is celebrating its second annual statewide Mobility Week from October 25 through November 1, 2019.
Mobility Week, successfully launched in 2016 in Central Florida, is an annual collection of outreach events intended to bring attention to safe multimodal transportation choices. The success of the Central Florida region in bringing together regional partners to promote the message of safety and multimodal transportation, prompted the expansion of the initiative statewide in 2018.
During Mobility Week, cities, counties, and transportation partner agencies host events to promote transportation choices, highlight transportation achievements, and roll out new initiatives or policies.
The River to Sea TPO will be participating in a number of events including:
Trail Walk for Mobility Week Safety Awareness Event
TIME: 9:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
LOCATION: Palm Coast Community Center
305 Palm Coast Pkwy. NE
Palm Coast, FL
Take a free, guided walk along Palm Coast’s trail system – from the Palm Coast Community Center trailhead, down St. Joe’s Walkway, past Linear Park and back – and learn about the interconnectivity of Palm Coast’s parks, trails, and residential and commercial areas. The TPO will be fitting free bicycle helmets at this event.

Halifax Art Festival
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
LOCATION: Beach Street in Daytona Beach
The River to Sea TPO will be partnering with Votran to have a booth at the Halifax Art Festival where we will be fitting and donating helmets to both adults and children.
