RIVER TO SEA TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION (TPO)
2019 LIST OF PRIORITY PROJECTS (LOPP)
AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW
The draft River to Sea TPO Transportation List of Priority Projects (LOPP) for 2019 is available for public review and comment. Public comments may be submitted directly to the TPO office by email, mail or telephone. The TPO Board is expected to adopt the 2019 LOPP (as may be revised in response to the public input) at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the River to Sea TPO conference room located at 2570 W. International Speedway Blvd. Suite 100, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Public comments may be made at this meeting prior to the adoption of the document.
The LOPP identifies the TPO’s priorities for project funding. It includes the following categories of transportation projects:
- Florida Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Projects
- Regionally Significant, Non-SIS Projects
- Traffic Operations, Safety, and Local Initiatives Projects
- Bicycle/Pedestrian (B/P) and B/P Local Initiatives Projects
- Transit Projects
- Shared Use Nonmotorized (SUN) Trail Projects
- Transportation Planning Studies
Following the adoption of the LOPP, the adopted list will be forwarded to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to be used as a guide in selecting transportation projects for programming in FDOT’s Work Program.
