River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (TPO)

Notice of Public Review Period for Public Participation Plan

In accordance with the requirements of USC Title 23, Section 450.316(3), the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) hereby informs the public that:

The River to Sea TPO invites the public to read and provide comment on a proposed update to the Public Participation Plan (PPP).

The PPP prescribes measures used by the River to Sea TPO to ensure adequate public involvement in transportation planning and decision-making activities. The public review period will begin on April 25, 2019. The draft PPP is scheduled to be presented for approval at the June 26, 2019 TPO Board meeting.

The proposed draft PPP will be presented to the TPO’s advisory committees for their review and recommendation of approval at the following regularly scheduled meetings:

Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) – June 12, 2019 @ 2:00 p.m.
Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) – June 18, 2019 @ 1:15 p.m.
Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) – June 18, 2019 @ 3:00 p.m.

The TPO Board is scheduled to approve the Public Participation Plan at their June 26, 2019 meeting. Public comments will be accepted prior to TPO Board action on the draft PPP. All TPO meetings are open to the public and public participation is encouraged. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. at the following location:
