VOLUSIA TPO APPROVES NEW NAME FOR ORGANIZATION!
The Volusia Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is proud to announce a series of changes that will affect the appearance and image of the organization, though the mission to coordinate transportation system planning remains the same.
Effective April 23, 2014, the local area planning agency will begin operating under the name River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization – R2CTPO. Board members directed the name change to better reflect the upcoming expansion of the metropolitan planning area to include the addition of portions of Flagler County, Bunnell and Palm Coast.
In addition to the new name, the planning agency will be launching a new logo, email addresses, website and Facebook page.
