2017 White Cane Awareness and Pedestrian Safety Activity

The 2017 White Cane Awareness and Pedestrian Safety Activity will be held:

DATE:   Thursday October 26, 2017
TIME:    10:00 am to 12:00 pm
LOCATION:   Intersection of Beville Road and Nova Road

The event is being sponsored by the Daytona Beach Mayors Alliance for Persons with Disabilities. Participants will include but not be limited to:

• Halifax Council of the Blind
• The Greater Daytona Beach Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind
• Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired
• Conklin Center for the Blind
• Adult Persons with Disabilities
• Lions Club
• Representatives from the River to Sea TPO
• Representatives from Daytona Beach and Volusia County Government
• Representatives from law enforcement.
