On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 5, I invite you to a public meeting for the State Road (SR) A1A Long-Term Improvements Feasibility Study in Flagler County. The limits of the study are along SR A1A, from south of S. 28th Street to south of Osprey Drive.

The study, which builds on the recently-constructed short-term improvements, will evaluate a range of long-term improvement options for SR A1A. The study is being conducted in association with the US Army Corps of Engineers, US Fish and Wildlife Service, National Marine Fisheries Service, Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The study will conclude with a range of options that will be further assessed by local, state and federal agencies.

The purpose of the public meeting is to present initial findings related to existing and future conditions and to receive input from interested stakeholders.

The public meeting is from 2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 15 at Flagler Beach City Hall, 105 S. 2nd Street, Flagler Beach. Attendees are welcome to attend the meeting anytime between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. A looped, multi-media presentation and members of the study team will be available throughout the day to receive input and answer questions.
