WHO: This event is co-organized by faculty, staff, and students from Bethune-Cookman University, Daytona State College, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The effort is supported by the Florida Department of Transportation’s reThink Your Commute program.

The Community Festival, which starts at 9:00 a.m., will include a kid-friendly bicycle safety rodeo and a transportation information fair. Even if you do not plan on joining us for the bike ride, this fun, free event will be a great way to learn about your transportation options and receive a free bike helmet. Attendees may enter a raffle to win a bicycle, helmet, bike lights, and a lock.

Special thanks to our transportation partners, including Votran, the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization, FDOT’s Alert Today Alive Tomorrow initiative, and the Florida Bicycle Association.
