Interchange Modification Study:

Interstate 95 (I-95) Interchange at LPGA Boulevard

Daytona Beach, Volusia County

Dear Government Partner:

 

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is holding a public information open house for proposed improvements to the I-95 at LPGA Boulevard interchange in Daytona Beach, Volusia County The interchange modifications are included in the River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization’s 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan to address transportation demand and safety issues.

 

The open house will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Daytona State Advanced Technology College (ATC) Room 109, 1700 Technology Blvd., Daytona Beach, FL 32117. During the open house, participants will have an opportunity to view project displays, speak with project representatives and express their views concerning the interchange improvements being studied, which include:

  • A diverging diamond interchange (DDI) alternative
  • A double crossover merging interchange (DCMI) alternative
  • A roundabout interchange alternative
  • A no-build alternative

 

Five LPGA Boulevard intersections between North Tomoka Farms Road and Clyde Morris Boulevard are also being evaluated for operational improvements.

This letter is being sent to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet of the study limits and to public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and other individuals interested in the project.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this project are being carried-out by FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. § 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 14, 2016, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration and FDOT.
