The St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop Alliance is hosting an Active Transportation for All Workshop on January 27th, 2023, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM at Debary Hall. Elected officials, county & municipal staff, non-profits, community/public leaders, and other interested people are invited to participate.
The goals of the workshop are to educate and empower community decision-makers and leaders to prioritize and implement active transportation projects. The workshop will:
- Provide an understanding of the range of potential active transportation improvements and their benefits.
- Provide an understanding of how active transportation improvements can be built and funded.
- Familiarize and empower local jurisdictions to submit applications to potential grants and transportation programs to fund trail and multimodal projects, including the River to Sea TPO project application/prioritization process.
- Identify near-term steps, leaders & actions, and one or more follow-up meetings.
