Each year, FDOT develops the Five Year Work Program in accordance with Section 339.135, Florida Statutes.  The five year work program is an ongoing process that is used to forecast the funds needed for upcoming transportation system improvements scheduled for the next five years. Public involvement is a critical element of the District’s Five Year Work Program development process.  Whether you drive, walk, ride a bicycle, fly on a plane, or use mass transit, the District’s Five Year Work Program is going to impact you in some way. How well each component functions, or does not function, within the entire system is where public input is needed most.

There are four ways you can participate:

  1. Go to www.D5wpph.com between Monday, October 9, 2017 and Friday, October 13, 2017.

You will be able to see all of the presentations and maps, submit comments, ask questions, and directly contact a department representative if needed.

  1. If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, please contact Jamie Kersey at 386-943-5338 to request a comment form and/or to set up a meeting with Department staff.
  2. FDOT representatives will be available at the following location on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 4:30 – 6:30 pm to meet with you in person, answer any questions, and assist with website access:
