RIVER TO SEA TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION (TPO)
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON THE
TRANSPORTATION PRIORITY PROJECTS LISTS
Notice is hereby given that the River to Sea TPO Board will be conducting a public hearing during its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. in the River to Sea TPO conference room located at 2570 W. Int’l Speedway Blvd., Suite 100, Daytona Beach, FL. The purpose of the hearing is to solicit public input regarding the following draft Priority Projects Lists:
Florida Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Projects
Regionally Significant Non-SIS Roadway Projects
XU Traffic Operations/ITS/Safety Set-Aside Projects
XU Bicycle/Pedestrian Set-Aside Projects
Bascule Bridge Projects
Transit Projects
Transportation Alternatives Projects
Regional Trail Projects
Immediately following the public hearing and after consideration of the public input received, the TPO Board is expected to adopt the Priority Projects Lists (as they may be revised in response to the public input). The adopted Priority Projects Lists will be forwarded to the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to be used as a guide in selecting transportation projects for programming in FDOT’s Work Program.
Public comments are welcomed and encouraged during the public hearing or they may be submitted directly to the River to Sea TPO office prior to the public hearing by email, mail or phone. If any person decides to appeal a decision made by this board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he/she will need a record of the proceedings including all testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. To that end, such person will want to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made.
