FHWA Certification Public Meeting Notice

The River to Sea Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is the designated Transportation Management Area (TMA) for Volusia County and portions of Flagler County inclusive of the cities of Flagler Beach, Beverly Beach, and portions of Palm Coast and Bunnell. The TPO is required to undergo a federal certification review at least every four years by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The purpose of the certification is to certify that the TMA is satisfactorily meeting the planning requirements as defined in federal laws and regulations.
Included within the certification review is an opportunity for the public, as well as elected officials, to provide comments and input on the transportation planning process for the Volusia County and Flagler County areas. Therefore, all interested citizens are invited to attend a public meeting with the Federal Highway Administration and the Federal Transit Administration which has been scheduled for:

Representatives from FHWA and FTA will be available to answer questions regarding federal transportation funding programs and to receive citizen input and/or comments.
